Internet2® Health Sciences

The advancements of medicine often leave the benefits out of reach to many due to distance and lack of funds.  However, Internet2 can help close the gap.  Health science professionals and educators are using the robust Internet2 infrastructure to securely collaborate on diagnoses and learn from colleagues.  The network is extending health services by enabling analysis of high-resolution microscopy and MRIs.   It is also adding value to health education and training through high-quality videoconferencing of complex procedures.
