Internet2® Public Service

The Internet2 ultra-high-speed infrastructure provides opportunities for the UA community to extend services to the public such as the creation of programs that deliver educational services to K-12 schools across Alabama or the utilization of NRENs that may serve traditionally deprived areas around the world.  The burdens of delivering UA expertise and its battery of services for public benefit are easier with a robust network.
