OIT performs routine maintenance on servers and systems every Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon. Many IT services may be offline intermittently during this time. Network access and computing resources availability (Banner, E-Learning, Exchange server, etc.) may also be affected. Since this is a low-usage period, fewer UA customers will be impacted. Internet2 takes research seriously. That is why they have created a Research Support Center. The Center’s charge is to help Internet2 community researchers in using the network by working with researchers to match the network capabilities and requirements to the research project. This end-to-end support includes pricing of networking requirements for the project, offering advice on Middleware or other Internet2 services, and serving as a connection point to other potential collaborators at partnering National Research & Education Networks.
