Tegrity is a lecture capture program that records audio and a computer screen. Video of the speaker can be recorded when a web camera is used. Students can review portions of recorded lectures, can vary the speed of a recorded lecture and can search for content within a recording.
Tegrity is available in most University of Alabama classrooms set up with multimedia capability. Instructors are able to download the Tegrity recorder to their office or personal computers through a Blackboard course. Instructors can select Tegrity recording and viewing for any Blackboard Learn course. To use Tegrity outside of Blackboard and to learn more about Tegrity, please contact the Faculty Resource Center.
Available free of charge to all academic and administrative departments, faculty, and staff.
