Welcome to The University of Alabama Wireless Network
The University of Alabama offers wireless internet service to current UA students, faculty, staff and guests. To help ensure privacy and security, we utilize a secure Wi-Fi protocol that encrypts user connections.
Students, Faculty and Staff – Connect to Eduroam
- Visit your device’s network settings.
- Choose to connect to eduroam from the list of available networks.
- Enter your ua.edu or crimson.ua.edu email address and password when prompted for a username and password.
Campus Visitors – Connect to UA-GUEST
- Visit your device’s network settings.
- Choose to connect to UA-GUEST from the list of available networks.
- You will be directed to a sign in page.
- Choose Request a Guest Account.
- Complete the required fields. Your email address will serve as your username, and you will receive a text message with your password.
- Go back to your device’s network settings, select UA-Guest, then enter your username and password to connect.
