Connecting to Wifi on Other Devices

Chromebooks

1. Visit your device settings.
2. Select Wifi.
3. Click eduroam.
4. Enter your username@ua.edu or username@crimson.ua.edu email address
5. Enter your myBama password
6. For EAP method, choose PEAP
7. For Phase 2 authentication, choose MSCHAPv2
8. For CA certificate, select Do not verify.
9. For Domain, enter ua.edu

Linux Computers

1. Click on your wireless network icon.
2. Connect to eduroam.
3. In the window that comes up change the Authentication method to PEAP.
4. Check the box that says “No CA Certificate Required”.
5. Put your mybamausername@ua.edu or mybamausername@crimson.ua.edu email address in the “Identity” field.
6. Leave “Anonymous Identity” blank.
7. Enter your myBama password in the “Password” field.
