Students, faculty and staff may obtain the software by clicking the Download NVivo button. After agreeing to the terms and conditions, users will be presented with a download link and the current software license key. Download NVivo
The NVivo license is renewed each year and a new key must be entered into the software. The new key can be found at the download site above.
NVivo projects can be transferred between NVivo for Windows and NVivo for Mac. NVivo for Windows and NVivo for Mac projects have different project file formats, but can be converted from one to the other using NVivo for Windows. Users who are familiar with NVivo for Windows should be aware that NVivo for Mac doesn’t contain all the same features as NVivo for Windows.
