The Office of Information Technology hosts a monthly IT Forum to share IT news and build community among IT practitioners at The University of Alabama. At the Forum, representatives from OIT share project updates and upcoming scheduled maintenance. The floor is open for all members to ask questions, share tips and tricks and discuss general IT news that impact the group and the campus community.
There are currently more than 50 members of the IT Forum. These members originate from OIT, Arts and Sciences, C&IS, Nursing, Continuing Studies, and many other schools, divisions and departments at UA.
Members do not have to work for The Office of Information Technology to be a member of the Forum; however, members do need to have an IT function as their primary job responsibility. To join the Forum, please email OIT’s Director of Customer Relations, Meagan Bennett.
