Nov. 28 Service Outage Root Cause

Microsoft Login Issue

Update 8:50pm 5/10/22 – This issue has been resolved, students can now access Microsoft 365 applications. A change in Microsoft’s licensing procedures caused some students to not be able to log into some Microsoft 365 applications. Banner Bundle Upgrade – Sunday, May 15

OIT will be implementing a Banner bundle upgrade on Sunday, May 15 from 5am – 10 am.  myBama and channels that connect to Banner will not be accessible, including self-service and administrative systems. Visit the OIT Status Page for more information.


Authentication Service Upgrade – Saturday, May 14

Saturday, May 14 OIT will be performing authentication service upgrades. Services that use this authentication service, including Box, may be intermittently unavailable between 7am – 7:05am. Visit the OIT Status Page for more information.


Network Upgrades – Sunday, May 22

OIT will be performing necessary network upgrades Sunday, May 22 from 6am – 8am. The wired and wireless campus network will experience intermittent outages during the maintenance window. Services will resume normal operations by 8am. Visit the OIT Status Page for more information.


Authentication Service Upgrade – April 23

OIT will be upgrading authentication service on Saturday April 23 at 6 a.m. Services may be intermittently unavailable while the upgrade is performed; however, users should be able to log into all services by 6:30 a.m. After the upgrade, login screens will have minor differences, but still feature similar content and campus photo.


Database Maintenance – April 3, 2022
