OIT is aware that several faculty & staff members across campus have received text messages from an individual claiming to be “Dr. Stuart R. Bell.” Please be aware that these messages are phishing attempts designed to deceive and potentially harm recipients.
What You Need to Do:
- Ignore the Messages: Do not respond to or engage with any text messages from “Dr. Bell.”
- Report as Spam: Report these messages as spam to your service provider. This helps us prevent further spread and protects others from falling victim to the scam.
