Additional Information
Annual Renewal
Users must load a new SAS installation date (SID) file and agree to the Terms and Conditions each year, and the licensing period run from July 1st to June 30th. This is required to comply with the licensing agreement. If you want to continue running the version of SAS that you have installed, you will need to load a new SID file each June.
Limitations
SAS may only be used for teaching and research purposes, which includes classroom instruction and coursework, including the formulation of theses and dissertations and noncommercial research activities. Software may not be used for personal, commercial, or profit-making purposes. SAS may be separately licensed for administrative use.
Users may not reverse engineer, reverse assemble, or decompile Software or in any way attempt to recreate the Source Code, except and only to the extent applicable laws specifically prohibit such restriction.

ELIGIBILITY AND COST
Teaching and Research (T&R) licenses are provided to students, faculty, and academic departments at no charge. The use of these licenses is strictly restricted to teaching and research activities.
LICENSING INFORMATION
This software is licensed for use on both personal and University-owned machines and devices.
SAS products are licensed under a SAS Master License Agreement, which is an enterprise leased licensing arrangement. This means that the right to run the product is non-perpetual and continues only during the licensed period, which runs from July 1 through June 30 each year.
