Deep Freeze is a program that protects against unwanted workstation changes by “freezing” a computer’s configuration. The original configuration is restored each time the workstation is rebooted. Deep Freeze can work with both stand-alone and networked computers.

The University has a campus-wide agreement for Deep Freeze, which provides for unlimited installations on University-owned computers. The annual term runs from October 1 through September 30 of each year.
