About Mnova NMR Lite

Mnova NMR Lite is a multivendor, multiplatform software for visualization, processing, analysis and reporting of 1D NMR data, designed to support the specific needs of analytical or organic chemists. The Lite version incorporates significant automation and many basic processing and analysis features.
How to Obtain Mnova NMR Lite
Students, faculty, and staff must obtain both the software files and a license file in order to use the software. The license file requires your myBama ID and password to access.
Licensing and Network Connection
Please note that you must also be on the UA Network or connected via VPN when opening Mnova NMR Lite. This will register your machine, allowing you to use the program freely on campus as well as for up to 90 days while not connected to the UA Network. Opening Mnova NMR Lite while connected to the UA Network (including via VPN) will restart the 90 day clock.
Step 1: Save the license file to your computer
Step 2: Download the latest version from the Mnova website and install
Step 3: Open Mnova and apply the license
- Visit “Help/Get-Install”
- Click “Install”
- Navigate to the license file saved in Step 1 and double click it.
Lab coordinators should contact the IT Service Desk for information on the server license.
ELIGIBILITY AND COST
Mnova NMR Lite is provided free of charge to current faculty, staff, and students on both University and personal machines.
LICENSING INFORMATION
This software is licensed for use on both personal and University-owned machines and devices.
Mnova NMR Lite is funded by the Chemistry department with an unlimited licensing agreement.
